Oak Mountain Youth Football & Cheerleading

Unfortunately, due to an unavoidable conflict with OMHS, the cheer clinic has been rescheduled to August 3-6, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm OMHS.

We understand that many of you may have planned to be out of town around the original clinic dates and could possibly be out of town on the new dates. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we have no control over the situation. We will work with each cheerleader that cannot attend clinic to help them learn the halftime routine.

Cheer registration for the 2009 season is closed.

Coaches and Parents: OMYFC is pleased to offer consignment of the current uniform (skirt and top only) for cheerleading once again this year. Please be advised that this is the LAST YEAR to be able to use this uniform so go ahead and bring it in for sale. Beginning in the 2010 season, it will be necessary to update our uniform per our contract with our uniform rep.

Attention Parents: The Jefferson-Shelby Youth Football League has amended the date-of-birth rules for determining your player's weight class. This is an important change that should allow more children to play with their grade, provided they meet the weight limit requirements. Please note this change and consider how it may impact your child! As always, children that don't meet weight limit requirements may request to play up to the next weight class. We have provided the attached chart to illustrate the new guidelines.

Pardon our progress as we get the new site up to speed. The Board is preparing for 2009 Registration at the Heardmont Senior Center on May 2 and May 16 from 9am-3pm. Stay tuned for updated information.
